回首往昔，不负芳华。中国共产党第二十次全国代表大会胜利召开，擘画了新时代科技工作的宏伟蓝图。江门以党的二十大精神为指引，统筹推进疫情防控和经济社会发展，综合实力稳步提升，科技创新日益增强，城乡面貌焕发新颜，发展环境愈发优越。过去一年，外国专家朋友们为江门所取得的新发展做出了重要的贡献，发挥了重要的作用。为了帮助外国专家更好更便利地在江门创新创业发展，我们在持续落实外国人来华工作许可业务“零跑动”“零等待”“零费用”的基础上进一步深化“放管服”改革，建立“江门市境外优才就业居留服务专区”，实现外国人来华工作许可和居留许可两项业务“一套材料、一次申请、一窗受理、一次办结”，受到了广大外国专家朋友们的赞赏和好评。
Looking back, we can live it to the fullest. The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China was successfully held, which mapped out a grand blueprint for technological innovation in the new era. Under the guidance of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the CPC, Jiangmen has comprehensively promoted epidemic prevention and control and economic and social development, steadily improved comprehensive strength, increasingly enhanced technological innovation. The overall development of urban and rural areas has taken on a new look, and the development environment has become increasingly favourable. In the past year, foreign experts and friends have made significant contributions and played an important role in the further development of Jiangmen. To help foreign experts work and run business more easily in Jiangmen, we have further deepened the reforms of "streamline the government, delegate power, and improve government services" on the basis of some policy measures including "non-face-to-face approval", "instant affairs handling" and "free of charge" practice of the work permit approval for foreigners to come to China. We have established the "Jiangmen Overseas Talents Employment Residence Service Zone" and offered the "one-window-acceptance with one set of materials" service for foreigners who apply for a work permit and residence permit, receiving high praise from all foreign experts and friends.
展望未来，韶光正好。江门将立足新发展阶段，贯彻新发展理念，构建新发展格局，全力建设社会主义现代化新侨都。江门将对标最优最好，营造市场化、法治化、国际化一流创新创业环境。真诚期望广大外国专家一如既往地情系江门，支持江门发展，参与江门建设，为江门故事积极发声。
Looking forward into the future, Jiangmen will base itself on the new stage of development, implement the new concept of development, build a new pattern of development, and make every effort to build a new socialist modern hometown of overseas Chinese. Jiangmen will create a market-oriented, law-based and international working and business environment.
